Nanabijou Childcare Centre Community Sponsorship Campaign
The need for licensed childcare in Thunder Bay has never been greater. While Nanabijou currently provides quality
care for 120 children, many local families continue to wait for a space. With your support, we can expand our centre
and create 84 new licensed childcare spaces for children ages 1-3, helping more parents return to work, pursue
education, and build brighter futures for their families.
We are proud to launch the Nanabijou Childcare Centre Community Sponsorship Campaign and invite you to be
part of this exciting project.
Whether your family has been part of Nanabijou for years, your children are currently enrolled, or you simply believe
in investing in young children, there is an opportunity for everyone to make a difference. Sponsorships begin at just
$100 with our Fill the Toy Box campaign and continue through opportunities to sponsor libraries, art studios,
classrooms, kitchens, and playgrounds.

The Reggio Emilia philosophy is an innovative and inspiring approach to early childhood education, which values the child as strong, capable and resilient; rich with wonder and knowledge. As a starting place, the philosophy believes in the innate curiosity of children and aims to assist them with understanding their world and who they are in it.
The “100 Languages of the Child” recognizes that children have multiple ways of thinking, playing, exploring, speaking and doing. The Reggio Emilia Approach encourages children to use every tool they have to express themselves.
